I’ve teamed up with my friends at the music blog, Wildy’s World to help raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The winning bidder will get a recording of me doing a cover of their choice - and all money goes to the charity.  You can place a bid right HERE. This one of a kind auction will earn the winning bidder the right to request a cover song - any song - to be recorded by Bess Rogers! The winning bidder name the song, and Rogers will then interpret the song and record a demo personally for you.  You will receive your song via e-mail approximately 8 weeks after making your selection (timing may vary dependent upon Ms. Rogers’ tour schedule). All profits from this auction will be donated to The American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life team The Cave Crashers, who will be participating in the Relay For Life to be held in Geneva, NY on July 28-29, 2012. Wildy’s World is a music review blog written by one time performer and long time music fan Wildy (will-dee) Haskell.  Wildy’s World has been published on the world wide web since January of 2008, generating reviews for over 2,800 albums, EPs and singles in that time.  Wildy’s World covers everyone from unknown Indie artists recording in their bedrooms to major label stars.  This is first foray into fundraising for Wildy’s World, and we’ve been blessed with assistance of wonderful artists all over the world.  We will be offering auctions of songs and memorabilia throughout the summer, with all profits donated to the American Cancer Society.  If you’re interested in supporting Wildy’s World’s fundraising efforts, but don’t feel like bidding, you can make a contribution through Wildy Haskell’s official Relay For Life Page.
